Hi, I’m Malory, longtime documenter of real life moments.

I’ve been photographing babies, families, and humans I genuinely adore for over a decade in the greater Seattle area. What started as a camera purchased from Costco on a whim, to document my first son’s every foot wrinkle and facial expression, slowly turned into a full-blown career with an incredible, loyal client base - many of whom I’ve had the joy of photographing through multiple seasons of life: engagements, weddings, babies, toddlers, and now pre-teens.

Five years ago, my crew and I traded city life for the wide-open countryside of Yelm, WA. We wanted acreage for the kids to roam and zip around on their dirt bikes, adorable livestock sightings on the way to school, and a slice of good old ‘small-town’ living. Now, we live surrounded by morning fog rising over the pastures, golden hour stretched endlessly across the fields and gorgeous stars lighting the sky every night. Frequent Mount Rainier sightings don’t hurt either! 😍 We couldn’t be happier.

I’ve been proudly married for 15 years to my favorite human - the guy who’s given me my dream life in every single way. He’s flown with me to various countries to schlep my camera gear around as I shoot weddings, always been a supporter of my late night editing sessions and, most importantly, holds down the fort in the most competent of ways while I’m out all day on photoshoots. Marriage and motherhood have completely shaped how I photograph as I know how fast the days go. I know how important the details are. I know how rare it is for mom to get a chance to be in the photos with the kids.

My photography style is honest, relaxed, and connection-driven. I’m not here to force stiff poses or perfection. I’m here for belly laughs, wind-blown hair, kids who won’t sit still, couples who can’t stop touching each other, and families exactly as they are right now.

Even though I now call Yelm home, I still happily serve the Seattle area and know the parks like the back of my hand. Whether we’re shooting in a downtown alley, a golden field, your living room, or somewhere beautifully unexpected, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel like you.
